Round arm patches with the logo of USA-247 mission. The emblems shows an official version of the large octopus with its arms wrapped around the planet earth. The text NROL-39 is located at the top of the patch. The motto “Nothing is beyond our reach” embroidered with white text below the image. The logo was very controversial. The mission team decided to use octopus as it is very intelligent creature. We embroidered that animal in yellows and oranges, also white and black thread was used.
